Yes! We have plastic in our name itself, and we are sustainable.
At Dalal Plastics, we understand that "plastic" often raises environmental concerns. And rightly so—plastic, particularly single-use plastic, has a significant role in pollution. But is plastic the real problem? The answer is both yes and no.
Looking deeper, we see the real issue isn't plastic itself but how it's used and consumed, and we believe the solution also lies in ‘how we use plastic.’
As a plastic injection molding manufacturer, we manufacture industrial plastics designed to last—often for years or even decades. Because they last longer, they create less waste in the long run. We also use advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure we use every bit of material efficiently. This means less scrap and waste during production.
We firmly believe: ‘Everyone has a role to play in protecting the environment, and industries, in particular, have a greater responsibility.’ So, we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact and take pride in going the extra mile.
Initiatives to change the narrative of plastic manufacturing towards sustainability
​Reduce our reliance on fossil fuels with solar panels:
Our solar panels now generate 10000 Kw of electricity every month, which helps us significantly cut down on the energy we need from non-renewable sources.
Efficient water resource management with groundwater harvesting:
We’ve also set up a groundwater harvesting project at the injection moulding manufacturing plant at the Aurangabad facility to power our 7 injection moulding machines. This helps us conserve water and reduce our environmental footprint.
Conscious and eco-friendly packaging:
We’ve made a conscious shift towards compostable packaging for our smaller products, helping us reduce waste and minimize landfill disposal.

At Dalal, we believe that business thrives when the community around thrives. Hence, we are dedicated to positively impacting the communities around us through meaningful initiatives.
Believing that children are our future, we invest in their growth and education. Our efforts include delivering nutritious mid-day meals and hosting educational visits in our factory for college students.
Initiatives to mold a better world through food, education and mentoring
Donation of Food Distribution Vehicle
Since 2023, Dalal Plastics has supported the well-being of children through our partnership with the Akshaya Patra Foundation. We donated a food distribution vehicle to help transport fresh meals from Akshaya Patra’s kitchen to government schools in Hyderabad.
Supplying mid-day meals to over 18000 kids:
We donated a food distribution vehicle to Akshaya Patra’s Thane kitchen.
This supports their mission to deliver mid-day meals to over 18,000 children across 110 government and aided schools.
Factory tour for Students
As part of our commitment to education and community engagement, we hosted a factory tour at our plastic injection moulding unit in Mumbai for the college students. The visit gave students an in-depth understanding of our manufacturing process and broadened their perspective on plastic manufacturing.
